Arts and Culture Platform

Click on the link to access the Arts & Culture Platform: Platform File
(.pdf) or click here to view it on the web.

The Platform was based on a series of focus groups with cultural organizations, individual artists and public art advocates.  The Platform also references the recommendations of the 2007 Atlanta Cultural Investment Fund Task Force Report on Arts & Culture Funding.

The Platform has been emailed to the 4 top Mayoral Candidates for written responses by 5PM, September 3, 2009.  Responses will be posted on the MAACC website and will be emailed to all cultural groups for dissemination.

The Platform also contains the primary questions to be asked of the Mayoral candidates at the October 12 Mayoral Forum.

Submit your questions for the Mayoral Forum!

MAACC invites the cultural community to submit additional questions to be asked at the Mayoral Forum.  In order to make the best use of limited time with the candidates, and address as many important topics as possible, the MAACC Executive Committee will review the submitted questions in advance and make the final selection.

Please email us your questions by Tuesday, September 8, 5PM at:  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   and be sure to include you name and phone number.  If your question is selected, you will be invited to pose the question from the audience during the Forum.
