| Blue Ocean is a film-industry festival for those producing ocean- and coastal-related documentaries. Filmmakers from all over the world will present films, network and attend workshops. Executives from Disney Nature's feature division, National Geographic Television, PBS Nature, Discovery and the History Channel will also attend. In addition, several teams of SCAD student filmmakers have placed in the competition. Students interested in volunteering for the festival--which allows them the opportunity to attend screenings and network with industry professionals--should contact Heather Kochendarfer at 912.525.5208.
