  • Educates independent filmmakers with training and networking opportunities.
  • Provides a forum for the exhibition of films.
  • Engages in dialog between audiences and creators.
  • Produces cultural events like the 70th anniversary screenings of GONE WITH THE WIND and the 20th anniversary screening of Spike Lee's DO THE RIGHT THING
  • Works with the Georgia Production Partnership and the Georgia Office of Film, Music and Digital Entertainment to promote Georgia’s benefits and tax incentives which drive production to Georgia.

And our success has not gone unnoticed!

  • Creative Loafing’s Best of Atlanta named us Best Film Event and we earned the Reader’s Choice award for Best Film Festival.
  • The City of Atlanta bestowed us with a proclamation for “supporting a strong, authentic, and independent media arts community in Atlanta.”
  • The International Film Festival Summit honored us with the award for Best Festival Director.
