Handmade Film Workshop
This Saturday November 14th 2009 at 4pm WonderRoot Atlanta will present a hand-made film workshop with local filmmaker Robbie Land. Scratch, draw, slop, stick, paint and gouge your very own hand made film. In the tradition of Stan Brakhage, Len Lye, Harry Smith, Norman McLaren and many more, handmade filmmaking is a free form way to approach the moving image, previous experience not necessary! Bring material to create your film such as film slides, markers, paint, glue, plants, dirt, leaves, hot sauce, etc, it’s unlimited to what can be used to create your image or sound. the 16mm stock will be provided.
