FILMAtlanta (www.meetup.com/filmatlanta) is holding a Casting Call for Actors for a dramatic short about "karma".

FILMAtlanta (www.meetup.com/filmatlanta) is holding a casting call for actors. Following are character breakdowns:

Marcus – Male, any ethnicity – late 30’s. College grad; degrees in Accounting and Business management. Currently homeless and down on his luck. Caring for his 5 year old daughter.

Robert – Male, any ethnicity, early 30’s. Superficial, psychopath (minus the criminality). Enjoys humiliating others.

Antonio – Male, any ethnicity, 30's - 40’s. Nice guy used by others, but not a doormat.

Chris – Male, any ethnicity – 30’s; In a relationship with Karen, who he cheats on. Handsome, educated, and stylish (PDiddy wannabe).

Karen – Female, mid to late 20’s – college grad. Beautiful personality; stunning. In relationship with Chris, her first.

Jason – Male, any ethnicity – late 20’s. Handsome, nice guy. Somewhat introverted and emotionally guarded.

Waitress – Female, any ethnicity – 30’s. Adorable, lovable, people-person. Open-hearted, natural caregiver.

Marie – Female, any ethnicity – 30’s; relatively attractive, but unkempt. Has resentment towards men. Enjoys studying tarot cards, hypnosis, and magic.

Boss – Male, any ethnicity – late 30’s to 50’s.

Manager – Male, any ethnicity – late 40’s to 50’s.

Gazelle – Female, any ethnicity, early 20''s - 30’s, tall, slim, model type (non-speaking role).

Background extras needed, including all ages and ethnicities.

Auditions will be filmed; one-minute monologues are preferred, however, sides for cold reads will be available.

Actors bring a copy of your headshot and resume. New actors without headshots and resumes are invited to attend as well.

Also while there, join FILMAtlanta and Mr. Ralph Wilcox, writer, producer, and director of “Hope And Redemption: The Lena Baker Story” for a show business discussion. Mr. Wilcox is a veteran actor in Hollywood and on the New York Broadway stage. He is an executive producer/director/and CEO of the 22,000 square-foot Jokara-Micheaux Film/Television/Music Production Studio, and has taken Southwest Georgia by storm. A Milwaukee native, his lifelong passion has been in the film and television industry as an actor and making a difference in the lives of others through the Arts. His enthusiasm led him to Africa for six and a half years where he produced documentaries on the lives of missionaries and owned a production company. His credits include a plethora of film and television credits including Sheena, Sea Quest, Silent Victim, In the Heat of the Night, and Good Times.
