We are truly excited about the New Year. Last year broke all records for productions in Georgia. Many of the professional actors in our region have added new credits to their resumes because of the television and film projects that have come to the Southeast. Equally as exciting are the opportunities afforded to actors who are prepared to become a part of the existing talent pool. Many new faces will be needed for the films shooting in our market. All ages, all types become important for the growth of our talent pool. Chez Studio, founded by Shay Griffin, continues to offer professional training to actors, new and veteran. All of our instructors have extraordinary backgrounds and are committed to preparing the upcoming talent pool. Writers, producers, directors, actors, casting directors and industry leaders have followed Shay Griffin’s leadership to continue building a working force of actors in Georgia and the Southeast. ***Adult Workshop with Steve Coulter - Sunday FEB 7th: SCENE WORK FOR FILM Actors, using scenes from current screenplays, will explore how to bring them to life in front of the camera. Participants will learn how to analyze a script and tap into their natural instincts and talents (and actually enjoy the process). Steve has been a professional actor for over 25 years, and was the head writer and executive story editor for Tyler Perry's HOUSE OF PAYNE and MEET THE BROWNS. His screenplay, "Keesha's House" won the $100,000 Southeastern Media Award.***Children's Workshop with L Warren Young - Saturday FEB 6th: Children ages 8 - 12 will enjoy a information filled day of learning with the always popular Mr L Warren Young. Mr Young has been a working actor in Georgia for many years, he is not only a talented actor but a great teacher. Mr Young has the special touch that does enhance the skill of the young actors that study with The Chez Group
"We
will be developing the character within a movie scene and find the ebb and flow
of an audition. We will also be looking at
the do’s and don’ts (ethics) of auditioning."
At Chez Group we believe that
natural talent should only be enhanced with training. When young actors are over
trained it often takes away their own special magic.

This is something very special for those
of you that have worked with Lance Dreesen in our past class or workshop.
The class will consist of four Thursday nights starting at 7:00 PM and ending at
