Fall Focus on Directors
Presented by the Atlanta Film Festival and the Plaza Theatre
The Plaza Theatre and the Atlanta Film Festival announced today that they will begin a season-long “Fall Focus on Directors.” To kick it off, “10 Days of Woody Allen” will feature 12 of the most acclaimed titles from the director over the first 10 days of September with most films screening at 7:45p. Tickets for this series will be $12, with a pass for all twelve films available for $45.
Each successive month in the series will focus on a new director, highlighting a different curated film each week. The month of September will focus on the work of Steven Spielberg, followed by the Coen Brothers in October and François Truffaut in November to finish out the series. All films will screen Thursday nights at 9:30p with a matinee on Sundays at 1:00p. Tickets for these films will be $10.
