Orbitz partners with ATLFF to present Pink Peach competition

Once again, Orbitz is proud to sponsor the Pink Peach competition, an integral part of each edition of the Atlanta Film Festival.

Now in its sixth year, the ATLFF Pink Peach competition has shone a spotlight on LGBTQ narrative features, documentary features and short films. A grand jury prize has annually been awarded to a  feature since 2008 and to a single short film since 2010.

This year, the Pink Peach competition is made up of one narrative feature, six documentary features and four short films. Check out each film and buy your tickets below.

Pink Peach Jury

Jim Farmer coordinates Out On Film, Atlanta's LGBT film festival. A proud graduate of the University of Georgia, he worked as the marketing manager of Landmark’s Midtown Art Cinema in Atlanta for two years. He also works as a film publicist and an arts and entertainment writer for local area publications.

Melissa Carter is a Morning Show Host on B98.5 in Atlanta and a columnist for the GA Voice. Melissa underwent a life-saving kidney transplant in 2002 and later established the Melissa Carter Transplant Fund at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. More recently, Carter wrote, voiced, and animated a series of comedy shorts for her own Vimeo channel.

Marci Alt is the CEO and publisher of Carma Productions, Inc. in Atlanta. Alt co-created the Gay Community Yellow Pages and continues to promote LGBTQ-friendly businesses in print and online with web sites and apps like Gayborhood. Alt’s contributions to the Atlanta business scene have been repeatedly honored by the community’s business and civic leaders.
