Creative Loafing celebrates the best things in Atlanta on Thursday, September 19 at 7 p.m. in the heart of Downtown Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park.
This sensory overload of a party will celebrate the 2013 Best of Atlanta issue by combining pieces of Atlanta’s past, present, and future. 

Nibble on complimentary bites from Atlanta’s favorite restaurants, including Steel Restaurant and Lounge, Chai Pani, the General Muir, Cafe Intermezzo, Waffle House, the Atlanta Greek Festival, and more! Check out video installations from Living Walls, WonderRoot, and Atlanta Film Festival, plus, be the among the first to get your hands on the 2013 Best of Atlanta issue, on stands and online September 19, 2013.

ATLFF will present some of our staff favorite films, including: 

Seed Story by William D. Caballero - A lone dandelion blossoms in an abandoned parking lot, negatively impacting the lives of a miniature society that becomes dependent upon it. 

Tempest in a Bedroom by Laurence Arcadias & Juliette Marchand - Suzan and Duayne Cleveland have everything to be happy about. Everything except an exciting sex life. So they decide to take a journey to spice up their desire.

28.IV.81 (Descending Figures) by Christopher Harris - An improvised double projection film edited in-camera that documents a set of twice-daily performances of Behold the Lamb Passion Drama at The Holy Land Experience theme park in Orlando, Florida. This film is a film of two 16mm prints to be projected simultaneously in synch side by side.
