In a survey of its 122 members, Indiewire has declared the top 50 films released in 2014 so far. It is the second year for the survey and so far, Wes Anderson's arthouse smash "The Grand Budapest Hotel" is the number one film of 2014.

ATLFF members and attendees will be pleased to know that 12% of the films on the list were screened at the 2014 Atlanta Film Festival! Coming in at #9 is "The Raid 2." Tom Hardy starring vehicle "Locke" is #12. Closing night film "The Double" is #14. Abortion/stand-up comedy feature "Obvious Child" comes in at #31. Jude Law gangster film "Dom Hemingway" is #45. Opening night feature "Joe," which director David Gordon Green and star Tye Sheridan were in attendance for, makes the list at #48.
